EMMA KING

Like all people at OROR, Emma too has upgraded her skills by successfully undertaking a Certificate III in Business.

This is in keeping with the OROR brand of only employing those willing to be actively involved in continuous improvement, not just words but a company policy.

DON CARVER

Don had spent 34 years at Nyrstar Hobart, the last 20 of which as a trainer and assessor. It was natural that he would continue to utilise the skills gained in that long career when he joined OROR.

Don has never looked back and now trains in high risk licencing and machinery operations.

Don takes a “steady as she goes“ outlook to training and has a patient and thorough approach which puts trainees at ease.

Don often says of his job ”I like to think we are the best. I was properly trained and I always ensure that those people I deal with receive a thorough and comprehensive training.“

Outside of work Don spends time in his garden, is and hands on grandfather and a passionate Carlton supporter, and catching up with the locals at the Brighton hotel.

KIEL ABEL

 

Kiel is our lead assessor for Heavy Vehicle training. Kiel works closely with State Growth to ensure Heavy Vehicle training is to the highest standard.

Kiel trains in high risk licencing and machinery operations.

Kiel enjoys spending time with his daughter and when possible likes to get away camping, 4 wheel driving and riding his XR400R Honda.

ADRIAN ABEL

Known as AJ. Kiel’s twin brother, AJ joined the OnRoad OffRoad Training team after a long career in truck driving.

Specialising in Heavy Vehicle training, AJ is always eager to help a student learn the ropes.

AJ is married to Kellie and has three children. His hobbies include, roller hockey, motorbikes, cars and spending time with family.

SCOTT PILGRAM

Scott is one of our most qualified high risk trainers. Scott has extensive experience working internationally in high risk operations.

Scott also trains in heavy machinery operations.

His hobbies include learning new things, music and is an aspiring writer on his second novel.

GLENN FOX

Glenn has come to us after a long career in training for the defence force. Glen trains in High Risk Licencing, Heavy Vehicle, Traffic Control and White Card.

Glenn is married to Lauren and has one child and his hobbies include Lego, bush walking and military history 1800s to World War II.

PETER HOWARD

Peter Howard is another of our Heavy Vehicles trainers. Peter is also able to train in Heavy Machinery.

Peter lives in the Huon Valley.

ROBERT KLINGSPORN

Robert is a trainer for Heavy Vehicles, high risk licencing. Robert is a highly qualified first aid trainer.

Robert enjoys camping, four wheel driving, listening to music and spending time with family.

BRUCE KNIGHT

Bruce delivers Heavy Vehicle training in the north of the state.

ROBERT KIEFT

Robert delivers Heavy Vehicle training in the north of the state. Robert is also able to deliver high risk training and specialises in Dangerous Goods.

STEVEN BARBER

Steven is a heavy vehicle driver. Since commencing work with us Steven has completed Cert III in Civil Construction Plant and obtained his Heavy Combination licence.

Steven’s hobbies include working on his Holden vehicle, camping, cars and loves trucks. Steven is our go to guy.

ASHLEY YOUNG

Ashley has recently joined us and works closely with Jason to make sure that our vehicles and machinery is kept to a high standard.
